Permission of suicide bombings in Afghanistan

The remarks of Pakistan`s Ulema Council chief about permitting suicide in Afghanistan led to a wave of protests and reactions. The Afghanitan`s Ulema Council, the Afghan government and other civil communities considered this order for political and intelligence purposes.

Taher Ashrafi said in his remarks that suicide bombing are lawful and permitted in Afghanistan, Palestine and Kashmir. He further said he will not give Fitwa (religious order) against Taliban.

As reactions the ministry of Hajj and religious affairs and the Ministry of foreign affairs condemned the remarks of Taher Ashrafi and said his remarks has no religious permission.

The Ministry of Hajj and religious affairs rejected these remarks in a statement and expressed them as interest for Pakistan`s intelligence.

Ministry of foreign affairs also expressed the remarks hilarious and considered them political.

Mr Spanta the National Security adviser stated that “I hope this position will be a caution for those in our government, among our people and among our so-called civil organizations which think we can survive and become free of this disaster”.

He further added this Fitwa shows where the main threat for the peaceful life of Afghans flows from and called on all political and civil organizations to unite together against this Fitwa. He said “our opposition, our civil communities, our intellectuals say this as defending our country and our nation that this great land never knee against those suicide bombers who are sent here”.

The strategies of Pakistan against Afghanistan are emphasized on issues that show the interpretation of Pakistan from Afghanistan as tool for providing their interest.

There have been analysis over the change of policies of Pakistan toward Afghanistan since sometimes ago but it is time to see how realistic these changes are to be and is there any concrete decision made among Pakistani leaders for solving the Afghanistan issue and reaching to a result from peace talks.
