In June 14th 2012 envoys from more than forty countries and international organizations attended the regional conference of heart of Asia in Kabul. At the end they called on regional contribution and a solution for Afghanistan`s crisis through reconciliation and negotiations with armed opposition to reach political stability for the country.
The participants of the conference stressed on issues of counter narcotics and political stability.
They also supported the programs of Afghan government including the peace talks with Taliban.
This conference came to conclusion as the others were held for Afghanistan with a series of emphasizes but it was possible to guess all issues discussed would remain just on papers.
All conferences held about Afghanistan led the country to a neutral situation and never led to an operational frame and applying programs.
On Thursday June 21st 2012 the trilateral advisory meeting between Afghanistan`s executive, Legislature and judiciary powers held in parliament compound. The meeting was conducted due to an order issued by president Karzai to look for solutions for corruption and creating good governance.
Karzai pointed to some corruption instances and problems of governance and stressed that he will not further treat these cases through counsel but seemingly no serious actions have been taken and seems there is no serious determination about it.
The international conference of Tokyo about Afghanistan was held on July 8th 2012 in Japan participating leaders and envoys from more than seventy countries and international organization.
The countries pledged 16 billion dollars for nonmilitary section and improving the country`s infrastructures. These aids are planned for duration of four years until 2015.
On the sidelines of the conference a trilateral meeting between Afghan, Pakistani and American foreign ministers was held. In the meeting The Pakistani officials tried to gain their previous position in issue of counter terrorism.
A day after Tokyo conference president Karzai stated there that Taliban has announced for the first time to join peace talks but later was denied by Taliban and the peace process further faced challenges.
The suicide attack on July 14th 2012 in capital of Samangan province killed dozens which were going to wedding celebration of Ahmad Khan Samangani`s daughter.
Ahmad Khan Samangani, Sayyed Ahmad Samee the west zone police chief and some others were killed and many others were wounded.
The security forces in response conducted an operation against the insurgents in Daresuf district which twelve of them were arrested and one died.
President Karzai then assigned a delegation to investigate the assassination attack. Rahamullah Nazari deputy of the supreme attorney was assigned as the head of delegation.
However the result of the researches and investigations of same incidents were never announced and it was the same for this case.
Then President Karzai stated about this incident that the enemies of Afghanistan once again committed a crime to Afghans.
Following the attack all were waiting for who would have claimed the responsibility but no groups including Taliban said a word regarding the incident.
