Twenty people were wounded as result of a landslide hit this province, officials said.
The landslide hit Shulir village in Yawan district at 02:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
20 villagers including women and children injured and more than 20 houses were destroyed in the village,” Abdul Marouf Rasikh provincial administration spokesman said.
Meanwhile, villagers said that a day earlier on Monday an earthquake shocked Shulir village and damaged several houses forcing many to abandon their houses and stay outside home; otherwise more villagers might have lost their lives or injured.
According to the official, since Shulir village is a remote mountainous area, it is difficult to get timely information there and by the time its complete information and report will be released and shred with the media later.
